This summer I’ll spend a month at Rollins College in Orlando, FL where Cru is hosting its Institute of Biblical Studies (IBS). Once again, I will coach a small group of Cru staff in Bible Study Methods (BSM). All new Cru staff members are required to take the course. After BSM is finished I will stay there for two more weeks to assist with grading and other duties for a couple of other courses.
Prayer Requests:
- BSM Teaching – Pray for me as I teach a lecture on the importance of context in studying scripture. It’s the first morning of BSM class (6/20).
- BSM Coaching – Pray for wisdom as I lead a group of about 10 people for a 90-minute workshop of the skills after class each day.
- Grading – Pray for wisdom as I grade and comment on assignments so it will help the students grow.
- Stamina – Pray for energy and especially that my allergies will be better in Orlando than in Indiana so I can sleep better. :-)
