During the last couple of weeks, I’ve been focused on two training projects with our Innovation team.
Destino Training
Destino is Cru’s ministry to Latino college students. A group of Destino staff leaders from around the country asked Innovation to help with a ministry challenge they are facing. Last week we had our fourth of eight online training sessions with them. We are coaching them through the process of discerning the root issue and discovering an effective solution for it.
Video Seminar
On November 16 three of us (including yours truly) recorded a 17-minute seminar for campus team leaders on “Leading and Empowering Gen Z for Impact.” We shared facts, leadership tips, and stories from our research on Gen Z.
We also offered new ministry resources from Innovation and elsewhere in Cru. These include prototypes I’ve written to you about in previous newsletters: “The Snake Crusher,” “Survey of Love” (now titled “Seen. Known. Loved.”), “Made to Thrive” and Student-Generated Evangelism workshops.
Please pray that God will use both of these training projects to help Cru staff members reach more students for Christ and help students to become mature disciples and leaders.
